| Abstract: |
In India, water supply projects work and are maintained. It is noted that the problem during operation and maintenance significantly leads to deterioration of the system. However, millions of rupees are invested in the development of the project, but they face major operational and maintenance challenges. The purpose of the document is to identify and analyze the operational and maintenance factors that can affect the success of the project. The critical success factor is a form of knowledge that must be formulated more appropriately and communicated within the project community, highlighting the role of social capital and social networks. 19 factors related to operation and maintenance were identified through literature review and pilot study (personal interview). Thus, a survey was conducted to determine the importance of the classification of these factors. Relative Important Index (RII) was used to calculate these factors. The first ten operating and maintenance factors are determined using RII. Reliability and validity are verified by the Spearman’s internal coherence test and the brown formula. The results allow projects to improve their operation and maintenance by prioritizing activities that can more effectively impact project performance. |
