Abstract: Economic growth and the development of an increasingly modern era, especially in Indonesia, have had an impact on the transformation of the shopping culture of the Indonesian people. This change in lifestyle is evident in those who previously shopped at traditional markets, but now the majority of Indonesians prefer to shop at modern markets such as supermarkets and minimarkets. Changes in people's behavior and consumption patterns as they are today, in line with the increase in people's income, have also led to an increase in the lifestyle needs of the community. Then the purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the mediating role of consumer satisfaction variables on the effect of the modern retail mix, service quality, and store atmosphere on consumer loyalty at Alfamart or Indomart Jember. The type of research used is quantitative research, in which this research is examined based on phenomena that actually occur. The population of this research I took from consumers of Afamart or Indomaret in the Jember area. The number of samples in this study was 119 respondents. The method used is Path Analysis using the SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) application. The results of this study indicate that the path coefficient of the effect of the modern retail mix on consumer satisfaction shows a positive and significant effect. This also proves that the more satisfied consumers are with the service quality and store atmosphere in modern retail, it can increase the loyalty of these consumers.
