Abstract: If we want to raise widespread awareness about the importance of the law, social media is our only option. As a whole, society may use social media to help its fight for justice. When a problem gets a lot of media exposure, people are more willing to rally behind it and work to find a solution faster than when the issue gets less attention. If the people do not know their rights and obligations, the purpose of any legislation that the government passes is for that law to be ineffective. Increasing one's own legal literacy is an important step in improving India's precarious situation in this area. This article aims to focus on legal literacy and how it benefits society. It also explores how social media may be used to promote legal understanding.
